My Unorthodox Story of Discovery

Some come to a love of trading and the markets slowly and later in life, but, for me it came suddenly and very early. I can still vividly remember the first price chart I ever saw well over 70-Years ago.

I was only 6-Years old and was fascinated by a stock chart my father had received from a brokerage newsletter.

Even at that tender age, I just had to know what those lines and bars meant, and, tried, in vain, to learn those facts from my father who tried to explain them as best he could to such a young and inexperienced mind.

Little did I realize how pivotal and predictive that moment was to be in my life going forward in time.

All these many, many years and tens of thousands of price charts later, I've participated in the Markets as a Speculator, Investor, Researcher, Technical Instructor, Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA), Newsletter Publisher and, as an Assistant Hedge Fund Manager.

In short, I've put a lot of miles on this Journey of Trading and Understanding the Markets.

All the while, still loving working price charts for Stocks, Commodities and Currencies.

All along the way, I've been intrigued by and studied greatly the work of W.D. Gann, a Master Trader who looked at markets quite differently from almost all others.

He saw and found the principles of Nature working BEHIND the Markets and their price charts, What's more, he traded successfully based on the Knowledge he found.

while Mr. Gann deserves all credit for his discoveries and success, he only left 'clues' about how he was analyzing his own price charts. Indeed, almost all of his 'secrets' disappeared with his passing in the late 1950's.

It's been my privilege and honor to recover and discover many of those 'lost' secrets over the last HALF-CENTURY of Research, and, to now share those discoveries with others who are willing to put in the work to learn these Principles and apply them with Discipline.
