Market Panics Don’t Just ‘Happen’, They Give Clues in Advance!
Panic moves in markets seem like they've just 'happened' overnight, but, that's not exactly true.
Panics in our shorter time frames, like the intraday, are usually foreshadowed by a major trend shift that has already happened before, and sometimes long before, the current panic price moves.
The current Russian/Ukrainian events shouldn't have surprised anyone who was an expert chartist.
No, it wasn't obvious back then whether the price decline was going to be fast or slow.
That information would develop over time and required Patience on the part of an informed trader.
However, one could have been, at least, aware that prices were weakening and that this posed an opportunity for a long-term profit from the short side of the Market..
As shown above on the charts, a major shift in trend was detected many months back.
If someone with our powerful market analysis methods were monitoring this Market back then, they could have known this fact about a trend shift to DOWD over 5-Months Ago!
Remember: Historically; Wars roil the Markets. It's always been that way and wars will continue to have that psychological effect on traders and investors.
How Confusion and Hesitancy Are Artificially Created.
All it takes are conflicting news accounts from government, corporate and media which amount to pure propaganda to create cognitive dissonance in one's mind, (if they're too open minded and suseptible to such fake news information sources),and to muddy up one's mind with questions.
All this tends to overwhelm the average traders who still believe the mainstream media. People don't think clearly when there's too much uncertainty in their minds.
The Professionals know this very well and do their very best to use these psychological rules against the average 'joe' trader. The Cure is simple: cut off the outside 'noise' of media.
Trading should NOt be based upon the so-called 'news'. Once the dust settles from this latest event, only then will most traders exit their 'shell-shock' or market-shock' state of mind.
